“When anything is blocking my head or there’s worry in my life, I just go sit on Mars or something and look back here at Earth. All you can see is this tiny speck. You don’t see the fear. You don’t see the pain. You don’t see thought. It’s just one solid speck. Then nothing really matters. It just doesn’t.”—Heath Ledger (Vanity Fair, 2000) (via thelovelybones) (via chocolate-cigarettes) (via alotlikelove) (via uhuhyeah) (via weareinfinite)
I just watched an incredibly beautiful sunrise on the front porch by myself. The sun look like it was coming out of the mountains. It was really pretty, the sky.
I’m going on 29 hours of sleep now and I have to catch a train to San Diego at 12:55pm to catch my flight. It’s gonna be a lonely 3 hours I feel. I guess I’ll use the time to collect all my thoughts and reflect, the good and the bad. I haven’t had time to myself to do that, and need to badly.
It’s been one Hell of a summer, and my time in Cali has been an interesting one, but I’m excited to get back to Texas, back home. To my bed. With my dogs.
I can only hope the remainder of this day goes as well as the sunrise did.
