Out of Sight by kynight
This is a graduation production made by three graduates from the National Taiwan University of Arts.
This short little story is about a little girl who has her purse stolen by an adult and stray off the road she’s familiar with. After passing a hedge, she enters an unknown world and unfolds a magical adventure depending on senses other than vision and her imagination. With soft and cute colors as the main key, we used simple designs to depict the little girls’ imaginary world.
This production made my heart swell… ‘Tis incredible! It feeds my imagination in so many ways, and was put together so perfectly it seems. Successors of Ghibli no doubt. The art style is just beautiful, and all so inspiring. As a fellow commentator said, the execution of the idea is indeed without flaw, and illustrates the concept amazingly well without the use of words, and in such a “universally understandable way.”
I really hope to see more of this soon. 。◕‿◕。
