Self-Portrait

I am TaVon Jackson (also known as Jodi-KaoS), this, dear friends, is my [Official] Blogging Site !

I make noises in a microphone for a band called Killer Baltimore, do graphic and fashion designs, draw, write, film, produce, DJ, and am the head honcho of Jodi-KaoS Photography. Nothing spectacular.

This is my life and its current happenings wherever it takes place, along with other random stuff I like. Pictures, stories, what I look at everyday. So randomness should be expected.

Tokyo Police Club.
TPC 2011 Headlining tour.
Houston, TX.

I was beyond excited to finally be seeing and shooting THE Tokyo Police Club live after almost five years of wanting to. As soon as I found out they would be coming to Houston, I made it an objective to be there. Their performance was stellar! They crowd was so crazy, and the vibes were so perfect. The joy of an Indie show that you wouldn’t be able to find at a hardcore show is that no one is moshing and pushing each other around and making the crowd uncomfortable to be in. Instead, everyone is dancing, giving each other plenty of room and having the absolute best time with one another.

It was awesome that they literally played every song I wanted to hear that night. I went to the how alone and knew few people there, but I felt like everyone was a friend of mine once they began to play. We all danced and sung together, twirling one another around, jumping and having some of the best of times. Everyone was in unison, and it made the event seem euphoric. I couldn’t have asked for a better time that night and was thankful  to have not missed it.

I’m looking forward to seeing them again. :3
