My Top 12 Albums for 2012 (On 12/12/12)

2012 is almost over (where in the world did the time go?!)! It feels so good to say that 2012 has been one of the best years for music, album release wise, in a LONG time, and with all that’s happened in the industry this year, the boost was sorely needed. I’ve discovered so many new artists this year with so much potential to be something great, and I’ve rediscovered my love for so many bands and artists that progressed so much musically and individually since their last endeavors. I’ve never exactly done this before (mainly because sometimes I couldn’t get back 7), but with today being the last repeated date in our lifetime, I felt this was fitting for the moment. It was way too hard for me trying to decide which albums were the best, but after doing some thinking and going based off the impressions each previously released album that I listened to, I managed to pick out which ones [in my opinion] stood out the most, what I thought were hard-hitters, what was most catchy, and what I feel will stand out and hold them above the rest. So here it is, Ladies and Gentlemen. I present to you, My top 12 albums of 2012 on December 12th, 2012.

I might do an Honorable Mentions for the albums and EPs that couldn’t make this list.

I’m looking forward to next year’s album releases and emerging artists. I’m also pretty stoked about my band being apart of that rise (details soon ;]). The game is about to taken to a whole new level, so keep your eyes open and your ears clean. The coming months will indeed be eventful.

Loving ‘em. Getting ‘em.

Loving ‘em. Getting ‘em.

Not the biggest fan of any of these covers really, but I’m pulling for the cover with Austin, Ronnie and Chris.

… If I get the one with Tay Jardine on it, I’m gonna have a problem. (-_-)
