I am TaVon Jackson (also known as Jodi-KaoS), this, dear friends, is my [Official] Blogging Site !

I make noises in a microphone for a band called Enkindled Souls Within, do graphic and fashion designing, draw, write, film, produce, DJ, and am the head honcho of Jodi-KaoS Photography AND (most recently) Kaotic Paradise Productions. Nothing spectacular.

This is my life and its current happenings wherever it takes place, along with other random stuff I like. Pictures, stories, what I look at everyday. So randomness should be expected.

June 25th, 2011 The Devil Wears PradaVans Warped Tour 2011.Houston, TX. Sam Houston Race Park. Genuinely one of the all-time best performances I had ever seen, and the best end to Warped Tour that I’ve ever experienced. They had the largest and most intense crowd I’d seen since As I Lay Dying in 2008. I was amazing finally getting to see these guys after so many years of wanting to, and having all my friends out there with me made it all the more memorable for me. I ended the day exhausted, but with one of the biggest smiles on my face.  This was one for the books for sure.

Genuinely one of the all-time best performances I had ever seen, and the best end to Warped Tour that I’ve ever experienced. They had the largest and most intense crowd I’d seen since As I Lay Dying in 2008. I’m not their biggest fan (not in the least bit actually), but I will give credit where it’s due. Blood On the Dance Floor put on one of the best performances of that entire day, and that says a lot, and they have the most dedicated fans I have ever seen. While I was shooting their set, Kevin Lyman and members of Dance Gavin Dance were watching their set from the crowd. I know there were more, but I can’t remember who else at this moment. All I know is, they did their thing, and I can’t help but respect them for that.

Now, judge me all you want and say all you will about this. I’m not their biggest fan (not in the least bit actually), but I will give credit where it’s due. Blood On the Dance Floor put on one of the best performances of that entire day, and that says a lot, and they have the most dedicated fans I have ever seen. While I was shooting their set, Kevin Lyman and members of Dance Gavin Dance were watching their set from the crowd. I know there were more, but I can’t remember who else at this moment. All I know is, they did their thing, and I can’t help but respect them for that.

The fact that Of Mice & Men and Attack Attack! were both performing at the exact same time and only a stage apart from one another sparked so much conversation. And don’t think that both bands didn’t voice their opinions during their sets about the situation, because they both had a lot to say. Despite that, both bands did well.
